a bit about us

Alea Software is a development house that provides an advanced ecommerce platform. As a thriving member of the Vancouver high tech community since 2004, we know what it takes to remain competitive in the ever changing online marketplace.

Our company is made up of fun, passionate people who have a real desire to do things well. Daily tasks include taking on exciting technical challenges within small team sizes, working in an agile environment. We encourage our teams to grow in their current roles and everyone is given the opportunity to attend conferences, take courses and develop personal skills, too.

And when you are ready to take a quick break, we have a games room equipped with foosball, ps4, pool and ping pong table and a custom poker table. We encourage social interaction with each other to strengthen rapport within our company by organizing various events throughout the year that facilitate team building and having fun together.

In addition to our summer and Christmas parties, some of the events we organize during the year include rock climbing, golfing, go kart racing, ice skating, curling and obstacle racing.

we value our people

We say our employees are our greatest asset, and we put our money where our mouth is. It's true that we expect a lot from our employees, but we show our appreciation by offering a unique benefits and perks package. We know it's hard to balance a career and life, and we do our best to help you make it happen. After all, a healthy team is a happy team, and we want to do our part.

If you are seeking a challenging position, a competitive salary, an opportunity to work with highly skilled professionals and a lot of room to grow, Alea is the place for you. We have some of the best people in the technology sector. It's one of our strongest qualities.

recent events

The Spartan Race

Our company participated in the Spartan Sprint Obstacle Race at Mount Seymour two years in a row, including this year.

The team was sponsored by the company for the registration fees and for dri-fit t-shirts with a custom logo. Not bad, eh?

Whitecaps game

Our employees went to a Whitecaps game at BC Place recently as one of our social events in June.

A few of us had never been to a Whitecaps game before, so it was nice to experience it in one of the private boxes. Thanks, Social Committee!
